This is the original portable wood-burning oven, introduced in 1978 by the Fontana family and still in use across Italy by families who love to gather outdoors for deliciously prepared meals. Today, it remains one of our best-selling ovens because it combines beautiful Italian design with versatility and functionality. Use it to prepare brick-oven pizza, bread, roasts, chicken, vegetables and more! With the Gusto, there are no limits — if you can imagine it, you can cook it to perfection.

The great Fontana classic that renews itself! The Gusto was introduced 20 years ago and now we propose this delicate restyling without forgetting the traditional features that have made this product the dream for all cooking enthusiasts! The oven is built in stainless steel and anthracite painted steel livery. The cooking chamber is on 3 levels of stainless steel and refractory plates, with double ventilation and lighting. It is supplied with grills, cooking pans, stainless steel chimney, side and front worktop and fire tool. Equipped with thermometer and timer.

Our innovative dual chambered design directs heat from the fire chamber around the cooking chamber providing consistent and even temperature for optimal cooking. The convection controlled cooking chamber has multiple racks allowing you to cook several dishes at once.

The solid-welded construction uses 2.5 millimeter of 304 & 441 stainless steel reinforced with a 5-millimeter Corten steel panel and heavy-duty Cast iron doors. This provides you with years of durable, rust-free performance.

A full 12 centimeters insulation surrounds the cooking chamber to maximise heat retention and cooking efficiency. This oven is that well insulated that the exterior is safe to the touch while at cooking temperature.

The smallest details can make a big difference. Fontana ovens include a stainless steel chimney damper & a sliding cooking chamber damper for maximum heat retention and precise temperature control. We electro-galvanize our metals before powder-coating, providing superb protection against corrosion.
